Physical activity is a critical component of everyone's lifestyle irregardless of your age and to this extent, Chefette is a strong supporter of getting everyone, especially kids, to lead a more active lifestyle and develop long-lasting friendships in the process. To achieve this, Chefette has supported numerous initiatives in various sports such as motor sports, cricket, road tennis, tennis, squash, football, swimming, netball, golf & athletics and various charitable fun walks, fun runs & fun rides.

Athletics

The National Primary Schools Athletics Championships (NAPSAC) will again receive support from Chefette through the supply of lunches & promotional branded items for approximately 150 officials at both the semi-finals and finals race meets. NAPSAC is the largest athletic event in Barbados where young children from over 90 Primary Schools compete. The Victor and Victrix Ludorum each receives a free Chefette birthday Party.

Also, at the Barbados Secondary Schools Athletic Championships (BSSAC) lunches and promotional branded items will be provided for the 150 Student Volunteers during each of the 2 days of the Finals. In addition, Chefette will be supplying meals for 50 students participating in a 1 day developmental workshop prior to the first Meet. Vouchers will also be given to the Victor and Victrix Ludorum.

Barbados Island Fit Games

Barbados’ largest indigenous Restaurant Chain will be assisting Team BIG with hosting the Barbados Chefette IslandFit Games on the Divi Southwinds grounds. These competitive events will bring together the fittest CrossFit athletes from Barbados and the wider region, to showcase their skills.;

Cricket

In 2017, Chefette and Tridents Pride of Barbados, which competes in the Caribbean Premier League T20 franchise, signed a multiyear partnership. The partnership has ensured that Chefette and the Tridents fan bases share the passion for the game. Fans at Kensington Oval participate in marquee events that showcase iconic Chefette marketing. The Chefette brand is featured prominently on the clothing of players during Trident Match days.

Football

Pro Shottas has been benefitting from Chefette’s assistance over the past 5 years and the club is grateful not merely for the financial donations, but for the encouraging support and co-operation given throughout the partnership. Chefette also donates kits for a number of players, training shirts for kids and seniors, prizes for the awards ceremony and rewards of meals for our champion teams.

The Kick Start Football Team is another beneficiary of our generosity and receives assistance in the form of Training Shirts, meals, promotional items and vouchers.

Motor Sports

Motor Sport is the number one spectator sport in Barbados, and Chefette continues to sponsor this activity through its popular Speed Team consisting of Roger Mayers, Barry Mayers & Rhett Watson. The Company also sponsors the numerous marshals from the Barbados Rally Club (BRC) and Mud Dogs, throughout the year, by providing meals and branded promotional items to them..

Surfing

Chefette sponsors the Soup Bowl at Bathsheba, St. Joseph which comes alive in November, with the staging of the Independence Pro and Junior Pro Surfing competitions. Locals and Visitors will get the opportunity to see some of the most talented surfers from several countries, regional and extra-regional.

Chefette has also partnered with the Barbados Surf Promotions in the hosting of the 2nd World Surf League Men's and Women's QS 3000 event that will be held on the south coast at Drill Hall beach. This event is one of the largest and most prestigious events held in the Caribbean. bringing many foreign spectators to our shores.

Tennis

Chefette has assisted The Barbados Tennis Association with providing meals for their volunteers and the children associated with their various events.
