The Barbados Red Cross Society Receives Yearly Donation

Chefette Restaurants has once again shown its commitment to supporting local charities. The Barbados Red Cross Society (BRCS), which has a long history in preventing and alleviating human suffering, expressed its great appreciation to Chefette, for yet another year of assistance.

Winston Waithe, President of BRCS recently received the yearly donation of Beef and Potatoes and said, “most companies and individuals are struggling in these economic conditions, Chefette Restaurants finds it possible to support those local charities that provide a much-needed service to the less fortunate. The continued success of our program is largely dependent on the support and donations from community-spirited organizations such as Chefette Restaurants Ltd.

We acknowledge the significance of Chefette’s continued contributions, particularly in the midst of otherwise challenging times.

On behalf of the governing board, members, volunteers and staff of the Barbados Red Cross Society, I wish to sincerely thank the management and staff of Chefette Restaurants. for this generous donation and for the continued support that they have provided over the years.”

Chefette’s Advertising Manager Lisa Carter said, “For 49 years we have been assisting the BRCS with Beef and Potatoes for their Meals on Wheels Programme, and feel a sense of satisfaction, knowing the less fortunate in the Barbadian Community are being provided with daily meals.”
