Chefette Restaurants continues to fulfil its social corporate responsibility of giving back to the Community. Since 2011 the company has been giving financial assistance to The Barbados Alliance to End Homelessness (BAEH) formerly known as the Barbados Vagrants and Homeless Society (BVHS).
A presentation was held recently at Chefette’s Corporate Office where representatives from that charity received the funds. Kemar Safrey - President of the BAEH expressed gratitude to the local restaurant chain and said “Donations from wildly respectful, generous and big-hearted companies like Chefette Restaurants Ltd. make us keep doing what we are doing. You are the fuel for our fire, and we could not be more grateful than we are right now. Funds donated will go towards the continued care of the homeless in and around Barbados. We truly THANK YOU.”
Adverting Manager of Chefette Restaurants, Lisa Carter said that “The Chefette Family values these opportunities to fulfil the Company’s corporate social responsibility of giving back to the Barbadian communities. It is always fulfilling, to know that we play a part in reintegrating those affected by vagrancy back into a more civilized society.
