Chefette Restaurants and its associate companies continue to show commitment to education by making annual contributions to the St Patrick’s Roman Catholic school’s scholarship fund. Selected students of that School who are in dire need of help benefit from this Fund.
During a recent visit to the Jemmott’s Lane institution, representatives from the largest restaurant chain on the Island, presented a cheque in the amount of $21,000. On receiving the donation, the Principal Sis Mercy Agbamu, staff and students, expressed their deep appreciation for the monetary and other donations made to the school over the years.
Sis Mercy said “On behalf of The Board of Governors and the Beneficiaries of the Chefette’s Annual Scholarship Donation, I wish to thank Chefette Restaurants and its supporting companies, for the generous donation of $21,000. Thank you for the ongoing scholarship fees for St. Patrick's R.C. Primary School. We are very grateful. May God continue to bless you.”
Chefette’s Advertising Manager, Lisa Carter said “Since 1987, we have been committed to this very worthwhile cause as we recognize the importance of investing in young people and their future. Their education is especially critical. We are therefore extremely happy to lend assistance to these students who desperately need our help. We will continue to do all we can to maintain our contributions to this scholarship fund and encourage the students to strive for excellence.”
