Chefette Supports The Barbados Alliance to End Homelessness

Chefette Restaurants continues to demonstrate its willingness to play a vital role in assisting charitable organizations across the island. The most recent organization to receive support, initiated by a financial agreement in the form of a covenant, is The Barbados Alliance to End Homelessness, formally The Barbados Vagrants and Homeless Society.

Recently, during the cheque presentation, Mr. Kemar Saffrey, Chairman of The Barbados Alliance to End Homelessness Society expressed gratitude to thank Chefette for its many years of continuous support to the organization. He noted that his organization could not have progressed this far, without the support of companies like Chefette. Mr. Saffrey specially thanked Mr. Ryan Haloute and the team of Chefette for always being there for the Society year after year and supporting the organization so that it could continue its work with the homeless.

This year's contribution would definitely go towards the maintenance of the Shelter as we have just launched and opened our doors a week ago. This allows persons to have a safe place to sleep and be able to use our hygiene system/care.

Lisa Carter, Adverting Manager of Chefette Restaurants revealed that she was pleased that Chefette continued to be of assistance to the Society in providing the homeless with the much needed food and shelter; which ultimately would contribute significantly, towards reducing incidences of vagrancy and homelessness in Barbados.
