Chefette Donates to Youth With a Mission

Chefette Restaurants and the general public continue to support local charities during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Youth with a Mission is the recipient of the funds collected during the 3rd quarter of 2020 via Chefette’s Donation Box Programme.

On receiving the cheque, Jack McCall, Base Leader of Youth with a Mission said “It is wonderful that we are a part of this innovative way of receiving needed funds from Chefette for YWAM Barbados’s next outreach initiatives during these COVID times. These include our youth camps, our continued support of local community, campus development and outreaches to Caribbean’s disadvantaged people by our medical ship M/V Pacific Hope.”

Chefette’s Advertising Manager, Lisa Carter said “We are pleased that we can assist with the development of our community in this way. This is one of the many charitable initiatives we support. We encourage our customers to continue to contribute to our easy and convenient Donation Box Programme by giving whatever they can. This way, they are assisting and playing their part in the development of our country.”

The donation boxes which are located in all fifteen (15) Chefette Restaurants and two (2) Barbecue Barns are cleared every three months. These funds together with additional contributions made by Chefette’s Corporate Office are donated to one of the seven local charities each quarter.
