Chefette Assists Special Olympics Barbados

Chefette Restaurants continues to support the efforts of Special Olympics Barbados. Athletes from across the island who are enrolled in this organization will benefit from the generosity of Chefette, its loyal customers and employees.

Recently at Chefette’s corporate office Elizabeth Bowen, Chairman of Special Olympics, was presented with a cheque for $6,500. She said “The Board of Directors of Special Olympics Barbados extends sincerest thanks to Chefette Restaurants and its patrons for their financial support towards assisting with the development of persons with intellectual disabilities. The donation made by your organisation would serve to assist with administrative costs related to the running of the organisation.

We take this opportunity to wish the Management and Staff of Chefette Restaurants a successful and rewarding 2020.”

Lisa Carter, Chefette’s Advertising Manager, said “On behalf of the Company I extend our heartfelt thanks to our many customers and staff members who contributed via our Donation Boxes.”

This Donation Box programme started in 2001 and it involves the placement of boxes at all Chefette outlets including our Barbecue Barns so that members of the public can make their monetary donations conveniently. The funds are collected every three months and the contents along with additional funds made available by Chefette’s Corporate Office are periodically given to a selected charitable organization.
