For the 3rd consecutive year, the Chefette Fun Run was not staged in its usual format due to the Covid-19 pandemic. While we look forward to the return to the exciting experience of the Fun Run outside, the vital charitable work must continue. To this end, our committed sponsors provided outstanding support once again to the Charity. They made monetary donations which allowed us to meet the objective of providing much needed assistance to a number of charities in Barbados. This in turn equips these organizations to continue to help the vulnerable members of our society.
The sum of $120,000 raised this year from the effort of the Fun Run Charity, will directly benefit The Aunty Olga Needy Children's Fund; managed by Variety the Children’s Charity and The YWCA Breakfast Programme which provides meals for approximately 1,200 kids daily during the school terms. In addition, The Barbados Alliance to End Homelessness and Eden Lodge Youth Charity Trust will receive assistance with their feeding programmes this year.
The Chefette Fun Run Charity is committed to helping those who benefit from the excellent work of these charities and a heartfelt thank you is extended to its committed and faithful partners in 2022 who made all this possible.
We sincerely appreciate each and every contribution made to the Charity and look forward to your support again next year.
Special appreciation is given to our faithful supporters:
